Luuna is a French comic book series written by Crisse and drawn by Nicolas Keramidas with colors by Bruno Garcia . It has been published since 2002 by Éditions Soleil.
The story of the series is inspired by North American Indian mythology. The young Luuna is the daughter of the great Sachem, of the Paumanoks tribe who makes the link between men and gods. During her initiation, she is afflicted with two totems, a white wolf which represents good and a black wolf which represents evil and possesses her on full moon nights. Accompanied by three Pipintus (animal spirits that only the Paumanoks can see and hear) and then other fellow travelers, Luuna tries to join a tribe whose sages should be able to free her from her spell.
