Attakus once again highlights the female characters of its favorite authors with this statuette inspired by the Sasmira series by Laurent Vicomte.
This figurine represents Sasmira in a red dress, her face partially hidden behind a fan. She is the woman that Stanislas, a musician, meets in his dreams and searches for in the past.

Sasmira is a French fantasy comic series directed by Laurent Vicomte. Published in 1997 by Les Humanoïde Associés, the first volume, entitled L’Appel, was a critical and commercial success which sold tens of thousands of copies. It is considered one of the cult comics of the 1980s, along with The Quest for the Time Bird.
“Stanislas, says Stan, a young classical musician, isolates himself in alcohol and silence to the great displeasure of his companion, Bertille, nurse and amateur photographer. Stan is obsessed with a memory: an unknown old woman, homeless, who died in his arms calling him by his first name and giving him a ring, a sacred Egyptian scarab. Responding to her strange plea, Stan embarks on a strange journey into the past. Accompanied by Bertille, he then set off in the footsteps of the mysterious Sasmira.”
Laurent Vicomte is also the author of the series Balade au bout du monde and La Sizaine des fauves.
