We're going to share some tips for taking care of your favorite collector's item carefully.
These tips are valid for all your resin figurines!
First basic advice but it is always good to remember:
- Always keep your figurines out of the reach of children, cats, dogs, iguanas (and other clumsy animals)

1. The cleaning
One morning, as you walk past your favorite figurine, do you realize that it is covered with a layer of dust? No problem, two solutions are available to you:
- Dry cleaning with a brush : choose a brush adapted to the size of your figurine (the smaller your figurine, the finer the details, so the smaller the head of your brush should be), and take take care to remove the dust by making slow movements on the fragile parts. You can complete the cleaning with a dry air canister.
- Cleaning with soapy water : If your figurine is dirty, stained, and a brushstroke is not enough, we advise you to bring a bowl of soapy water (which should not be presents no danger to your figurine) and paper towels or cotton swabs to carefully rub your figurine. Try not to get the felt and the label wet under the plinth!
Attention! Do not use acetone or any abrasive product!
2. Repairing a broken part
One morning, as you walk past where your favorite figurine is supposed to be, you suddenly realize that it is lying at your feet in several pieces, because the cat has decided that overnight? Do not panic ! (Well ... maybe a little, but all is not necessarily lost)
- Hypothesis : You are lucky and your figurine has broken cleanly. In this case, make sure that the different pieces coincide well with each other and glue them back using cyanolite (super-glue) making sure you have cleaned the bonding surfaces well. . Cyanolite dries quickly.
- Second hypothesis : You are less fortunate and your figurine has broken into many pieces, some very small. In this case, it is better to call a professional (sculpture workshop). If you wish to undertake the restoration of your model yourself, it will have to be done very carefully, first stabilizing the plinth or the base of your part throughout the operation. Cyanolite is very effective, there is no need to overdose.
